Donald Stevens has been involved in the mortgage brokerage
business since 1990. He is currently President of Nevar Corp., a
family holding company and a Principal of IC Funding Financial
Corporation, a commercial mortgage brokerage company in London,
Ontario. For the previous 18 years he was owner, developer and
Chief Executive Officer of two nursing/retirement residences,
serving 290 residents.
In addition to serving on Equitable Life of Canada's Board of
Directors since 1999, Donald also serves as a Director of Execulink
Telecom and Sifton Properties of London. As well, he is the Past
President of the Rotary Club of London, the London Hunt and Country
Club and the Ontario Long Term Care Association. He also served as
President and Chairman of the Ontario Nursing Home Association.
Don holds a Civil Engineering degree from Queen's University in
Kingston.
