Dikran Ohannessian is an insurance business leader with extensive experience in Canadian individual life and group benefits as well as substantial international experience, having worked in China, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Hong Kong and Vietnam.

Most recently, he was President, Sun Life Financial Asia and prior to that, he was President, Sun Life Financial China. His previous roles in Canada included Senior Vice-President and CFO, Sun Life Financial Canada.

He brings close to 30 years of Board level experience, serving in both Canada and Asia.

Dikran became a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries in 1979  He holds a Bachelor of Science from McGill University and is a graduate of Harvard University’s Program for Management Development.
