Marlene McGrath is a human resources and legal professional with extensive experience as a Board Director and senior executive leader.

Marlene retired as Senior Vice President, Human Resources, for 3M Company in 2018, after having spent 24 years at the company working in the Canadian, international and global businesses.

Marlene currently sits on the Western University Board of Governors, and the Board of Directors of the Ivey Business School Foundation, McCormick Care Group and Samuel, Son & Co, one of the 2022 Canada’s Best Managed Companies. Her past community involvement includes serving as a board director with London Economic Development Corporation and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board of Ontario. She has also served as the Board Chair of the St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation.

Marlene holds an LL.B from the University of Western Ontario and completed the ICD-Rotman Directors Education Program from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management.
