March 3, 2025 - Over the past two years, Equitable has experienced significant growth along with progress on their five-year strategic plan. To continue that momentum, and focus not only on continued growth but also on the long-term strategy for the company, Equitable has announced changes to its leadership team that are effective immediately.
Donna Carbell has been appointed to the role of Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy and Impact Officer. In this role, she will oversee all of Equitable’s strategic initiatives, supporting the organization’s aspirations of becoming fully driven by client outcomes in a way that’s simple, safe and rewarding for their clients, partners and employees. Donna is a strategic leader who joined Equitable in 2021 and brings more than 25 years of experience in financial services. Prior to this role, Donna led the Individual Insurance business and the Impact teams at Equitable.
Martin Reeves has been appointed to the role of Executive Vice President, Individual Insurance. He will be accountable for Equitable’s Individual Insurance strategy, product and marketing, distribution, finance, underwriting and operations. Martin is a talented leader who brings a wealth of experience to the role, having spent 20 years in the insurance industry both in Canada and globally, most recently, leading Equitable’s Individual Insurance Business teams.
