September 14, 2015 - Equitable Life announced today it is partnering with Your Neighbourhood Credit Union to make affordable health and dental coverage available to more individuals and their families who no longer have group benefits protection through their employer.
Through a special arrangement between Your Neighbourhood Credit Union Limited and Equitable Life of Canada, members of the credit union will be able to conveniently purchase Equitable Life’s Coverage2go® product.
Coverage2go provides affordable, reliable health and dental coverage for people who are no longer eligible for employer-sponsored benefits. No medical questions or proof of health are required if the person applies within 60 days of losing their benefits coverage. The product can fill the gap in people’s personal insurance needs and provide continuity and peace of mind when making a move.
