Equitable Life of Canada announced today the introduction of Pivotal Select™ Protection Class (100/100), the newest guarantee class available within the Pivotal Select segregated fund contract.
The introduction of Protection Class complements and broadens the other guarantee classes already available within Pivotal Select: Investment Class (75/75) and Estate Class (75/100). Protection Class offers the highest level of guarantees with a 100% Maturity Benefit Guarantee in addition to a 100% Death Benefit Guarantee.

Protection Class targets investors who are seeking enhanced potential for growth beyond traditional fixed-income style investments with the maximum protection available within a segregated fund contract. Protection Class completes the suite of guarantee options available within the Pivotal Select contract by offering three different and distinct guarantee levels in order to meet the needs of virtually any investor.
The Pivotal Select contract includes investment options offered by in-house and third-party managers and cover all major asset classes: fixed income, balanced funds, and Canadian and global equities. Clients can access their investment information anytime, anywhere, on Equitable Client Access™, Equitable Life’s online client portal.
Pivotal Select Protection Class is available October 1st through insurance advisors.
